CEU Station
Frequently Asked Questions

How safe is my financial information with CEUstation.com?

Your financial information is more secure on CEUstation.com than it could be even on the most so-called secure servers. The reason for this is, after you pay for your course, CEU Station does NOT store your credit card or checking account numbers. This ensures that no one can hack into our server and steal your financial information, because it no longer exists on the server. This safety measure does, however, make it necessary for customers to enter their credit card or checking information each time they take a course. This extra effort is, we believe, an acceptable inconvenience given the benefit it produces, namely financial security for our customers.

Will my personal information be made available to others without my knowledge?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! We hate unsolicited advertising as much as you do, so we will never give or sell your personal information to anyone at anytime. See the Policies page for why we collect your information and what we use it for.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card and American Express online. We also accept personal and business checks online.  Charges will show on your credit card or bank account statement as ”Tectonic Corporation – CEUstation.com”.  We do NOT accept payment over the phone, through email, or via US Postal Service mail.

How will I know my order went through?

Prior to having your test corrected, you will submit your order and within seconds see on your monitor a page detailing your transaction. This is the exact information that has been sent to PayPal for processing. Please print this page for your records. A copy of this information is also emailed to you for your convenience. Once your transaction is complete, the results of your test will appear on your monitor.

You can also verify which courses you have purchased by going to My Account.

What is the definition of a CEU? Is it the same as a CE hour?

The International Council for Continuing Education (IACET) defines one continuing education unit (CEU) as equaling 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience. Since, however, various governing bodies may define CEUs differently, for the purposes of this website we will refer generally only to CE hours and define one CE hour as one contact hour of participation in an organized continuing education experience. Refer to your jurisdiction's regulatory board to determine if any particular class provides appropriate and approved CE hours for professionals in your discipline.
